A portion of each registration fee is given from VA Momentum, LLC to the charities below after paying operating expenses to implement the Valley 4th RUN. Please note: your registration fee is not considered an individual charitable gift to your charity. Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance works in collaboration with private and public partners to develop and implement a comprehensive vision and master plan to revitalize downtown Harrisonburg into a prosperous and vibrant city center. 

United Way of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County mobilizes the community to advance the common good for all. In partnership with 34 local nonprofit agencies, United Way helps individuals and families achieve their full potential through focus on education, income, and health. Since 1957, contributions from people like you have enabled United Way to invest more than $28 million dollars in the local community, improving at least a quarter of a million lives. Harrisonburg's Explore More Discovery Museum is a community-driven service for children and families. Working with individuals, business leaders, and community organizations, we are able to offer one-of-a-kind educational opportunities for families throughout the region.  All funds generated by the museum are returned directly to the museum to ensure high quality experiences. 

Virtually every patient who walks through our doors benefits from the generosity of our donors. It could be a cancer survivor who beats his disease with the help of the latest state-of-the-art treatment. Or a mother holding her newborn comforted by a warm blanket.   Donations of every size help provide the technology, equipment and services that our community depends on for top-notch healthcare.
